Established in 1972, COST is a collaboration of 15 colleges and universities in the United States that provides opportunities for its students to have quality student teaching experiences in overseas settings. Grand Valley State University currently serves as headquarters and coordinates international placements.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA - ¡Pura Vida! Join us on an adventure through Costa Rica, the geo- and adventure tourism capital of Central America. During this program, we will participate in a variety of tourism experiences including rainforest hikes, white water rafting, and zip lining. We will explore tourism sites including Costa Rican National Parks, farm areas, cocoa plantations, museums and natural areas along the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
