PARIS: GLOBAL EXPERIENCES INTERNSHIP
Audrey Hepburn once said “Paris is always a good choice,” and Global Experiences couldn’t agree more. Renowned for its elegance, cuisine, beauty, and sites like the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame, PARIS, FRANCE is at the top of the list for world travelers. With so much to do in Paris and with easy access to the rest of Europe, there will always be something new for you to experience during your experience interning France. A unique feature of our Paris Fall program is the language course before the start of your internship. The city of lights is full of wonderful, unique internship opportunities and the official work week is only 35 hours!

Courses
GVSU Internship Course (1 - 6 credits)
Typically, students register for three credits of their major's internship course (490). The exact course and number of credits is determined by each student's academic department. (e.g., ACC 490 Accounting Internship, MOV 399 Movement Science Independent Study, HTM 290 Hospitality & Tourism Internship, etc.). Students seeking a practicum meeting professional licensing requirements should consult their advisor before applying to determine whether this program fulfills licensing requirements. This program is not designed to fulfill student teaching requirements for teacher certification. Fulfills General Education Global Perspectives requirement with 3+ credits.

Eligibility
Open to most majors with at least sophomore standing. 2.5 GPA required for undergraduate students. Limited English-speaking internship placement; French language preferred.

Arrival Information
Students are provided detailed information and recommendations from Global Experiences. Using this information, they will make their own way from the airport to their housing where a Global Experiences staff person will help check them into their apartment.
