United Kingdom: Anthropology

This program offers students the opportunity to collect data from skeletal remains housed at the Natural History Museum. They’ll also explore the myths and rituals of ancient and contemporary British culture through visits to other significant locations such as the Tower of London and Stonehenge. 

Live in the heart of London – just blocks away from South Kensington Station and within walking distance of many shops and attractions! Field trips include the Mary Rose Museum, Kensington Palace, Glastonbury, Tower of London, and Stonehenge.

Students will register for a total of 6 credits:     
ANT 330: Ethnology of Selected World Areas (3 Credits) AND


ANT 308: Field Experience Abroad (3 Credits) 


Fulfills General Education Global Perspectives requirement.

Fulfills (1) General Education Issues requirement. Reflection required.

Eligibility

Open to all majors. 2.0 GPA required. 

Non-GVSU students are eligible.
