United Kingdom: Summer in London with Kingston University

Summer School students will be housed at one of Kingston University's Seething Wells halls of residence based in Surbiton. Each student will have a single study bedroom with private shower and toilet in a suite of rooms with up to five other students sharing a kitchen. Cost and Scholarships
IMPORTANT NOTE: Since students are not paying GVSU tuition, this program may not be eligible for the 1098T Education Tax Credit since tuition is being paid to a foreign institution. Your GVSU 1098T will show the amount of your tuition in Box 1 and an equal amount in the Scholarship/Grants in Box 5. They will offset each other. You will need to contact the IRS to find out if tuition paid to a foreign institution may qualify for the Education Tax Credit. Health insurance CHUBB ($160) is mandatory and its estimated based on 120 days ($1.33 / day). Actual cost may vary and will be based on your exact travel dates. Policy details

Students interested in being greeted at the airport by a Kingston University staff person should fly into into London Heathrow Airport. If students arrive on one of the designated arrival days (provided by Kingston University), a staff member from Kingston will greet students at the airport, and take them to their housing placement. If you choose to arrive early, or your flight arrives outside of the designated times allowed for the airport greeting, you will be required to make your own way to Kingston.
