John Cabot University (JCU), an American liberal arts university in the heart of Rome, Italy, welcomes study abroad students in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. With 1,400 students from over 70 countries, the University offers more than 400 courses per semester and 130 courses per summer, all taught in English by internationally diverse faculty. There are also Engineering and Mathematics courses offered for STEM majors in the summer.

At JCU, Rome is your campus. The University is nestled along the Tiber River in Trastevere, a beautiful neighborhood in the city’s historic center. The area is like a small village within the city, with narrow cobblestone streets, quaint shops and boutiques, and family-owned restaurants on every corner. These partnerships allow students to experience a more independent international study abroad, but also require students to have a high level of flexibility and the ability to navigate much of the program independently.
