Madrid: EUSA Internship

Madrid offers unparalleled opportunities for students seeking a professional internship in a Spanish-speaking workplace. Placements are available for undergraduates who would like to work in one of Madrid’s many businesses, galleries, museums, NGO’s, or other organizations.

The program begins with a three-week intensive Spanish language course that prepares students for full immersion in a Spanish-speaking workplace. The course meets for four hours every morning, five days a week. Class size is usually limited to eight students, and students may be placed in one of seven levels. In the afternoons, students participate in excursions and other cultural activities that introduce them to Spanish culture and Society.

Subsequently, students participate in an eight-week internship, working up to 40 hours a week in a professional setting appropriate for their academic major and career goals. Because the program is designed as a learning experience, the internships are unpaid.
