Norway Residence Permit Guidelines

The information below provides general guidelines regarding the residence permit application process and required documents. This information can change frequently and students should always refer to the Norwegian consulate’s website for the most up to date application procedures, required documents, and residence permit fees.

Residents of Michigan will consult the Norwegian Consulate in New York for application instructions. Non-MI residents must apply for their residence permit under the consulate that has jurisdiction over your place of permanent residence.

Please look over the residence permit information carefully and do not delay, as residence permit procedures can be complicated and subject to change.
