In my study abroad experience I learned three major lessons: how to not fear rejection, how not to be a perfectionist, and how to feel a sense of belonging with friends and family. In each of these lessons, I was able to learn from criticism, find a place in my community, and be able to live life minimally. My favorite memories are traveling to Howth with my roommates, where we climbed down a cliffside and swam in a sea coveýalso, watching the Semi-final Gaelic game in Dublin, and celebrating with friends afterward in Ryan's pub. My overall experience of travel was a mix of crazy, fun, and memorable... something that I will never forget.
