All students planning to use financial aid (grants, loans, scholarships) for their study abroad program will need to complete the Financial Aid Agreement by the deadline stated for the semester they will be abroad:

Fall and Academic Year Abroad: April 20

Winter Abroad: November 1

Summer Abroad: March 20

If students do not complete the agreement by the deadline, financial aid will NOT be disbursed according to the early release schedule. Instead, aid will be disbursed at the normal release date which is the second week of the GVSU semester, provided the student has completed the agreement and expense form in the Study Abroad Application Portal (Via TRM).
