IS 380 Course Fee

$28 Per Credit Hour

Paid to GVSU. The course fee for IS 380 is $28 per credit hour. Participants on this program will register for 12 credits of IS 380.

Chubb Health Insurance

$1.91 Per Day

The Chubb health insurance plan is mandatory for all study abroad students. The cost is $1.91 per day. This estimate reflects 120 days, but the actual number of days of the program may differ.

Visa, Declaration of Presence, and Permit to Stay

The cost of an Italian visa is $55. The cost of a declaration of presence is $36. The cost of a permit to stay is $216. Check the consulate website for up-to-date fees. Students will need these items if they are staying for 90 days or longer.

Flight & Ground Transportation

Approximately $1,500 paid to the airline provider. Students will then take a taxi to their housing. 

Housing Security Deposit

A $300 refundable security deposit is charged to students. Paid to FUA.
