The Grand Rapids area is overflowing with great pizza places, but which ones truly have a pizza our hearts? Whether it's because of the perfectly crispy crust, the gooiest cheese, or the most unique combination of toppings, there's some pizzerias that just can’t be beat. What’s Grand Valley's favorite pizza place?
#4: The Mitten
Who doesn’t love a restaurant modeled after our great state? The Mitten is even more than just a great slice; it is a vintage baseball-themed restaurant that specializes in gourmet pizzas. Its menu is expansive and features unique pizza toppings and ingredients like pesto, sausage, artichoke hearts, and even chili bean sauce. If you’re looking to try something new, The Mitten would be a perfect fit.
#3: Buddy's Pizza
Although it originated in Detroit, Buddy’s Pizza also has a spot in the hearts of Lakers here on the west side of the state. With an emphasis on Detroit-style deep dish pizza, Buddy’s has clearly endeared itself to Lakers and the Grand Rapids community in general.

Peppino’s has a location in just about every city in West Michigan. We’re lucky enough to have one in Grand Rapids and in Allendale! Lakers love this classic restaurant so much that it’s the runner up on our list.
