The Grand Valley State University Cheer Team is a key component of the Laker Spirit Program. The cheer program is comprised of 2 sub-sections: All-Girl and Co-Ed. Both teams perform at all home football games as well as Men’s and Women’s Basketball games. When the Cheer teams are not practicing or performing, they participate in fundraisers and volunteer events within their local community and beyond. The Grand Valley Cheer Teams compete nationally each year in Daytona, Florida, where they compete in DII Co-Ed and All-Girl divisions against schools from across the country.
