Event Description:
The European Renaissance – lasting from roughly the middle of the 14^th Century CE through the 16^th Century – marks a renewal of appreciation for the arts and sciences that had been lost during the Middle Ages.  The modern advent of human anatomical study is found in the Renaissance, and the art of the time informed the science of anatomy as much as anatomy informed the art.  This discussion reviews this symbiotic relationship of art and science, and how it continues today.
