Register for the MiELA Network Institute: Cross-Discliplinary Literacy

Science and ELA and a Conference

All districts across the state of Michigan and beyond are invited to send teachers, teacher leaders, and administrators from all levels and content areas who are interested in diving deeply into work where we explore the significance of science and other related content instruction, and the impact that it can have on literacy. Session this year will be showcasing cross-disciplinary resources. Join us to engage in how this is transferable and implemented into the classroom.

The vision of the MiELA Network Institute is to build statewide capacity to address the literacy demands of the CCSS through a sustainable multi-year state network of K-12 ELA teachers. Participants will grow their own learning around curriculum, instruction, and  assessment for the purpose of supporting the learning of colleagues and students.
