GVSU Mourns the Loss of Grace DeJonge

Grace DeJonge, age 85, of Allendale, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Grace retired from GVSU as a Purchasing Assistant in the Purchasing Office. She was employed at GVSU from December 17, 1979, to February 27, 1998.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert DeJonge; children, Robert (Heather) DeJonge, Nancy (Brian) Seeley, David (Hope Richardson) DeJonge, Timothy (Karen) DeJonge; granddaughters, Hannah and Lauren DeJonge; sister, Elsie (Berneth) Lemmen; brother, Raymond (Bev) Schat; sisterin- law, Linda Lemmen; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Grace was a devoted Christian who developed a servant’s heart and faithfully followed her calling to care for the needs of others. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
