GVSU Mourns the Loss of Barbara Carlson

GVSU mourns the loss of Barbara Carlson, Assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences before her retirement. Barbara May Carlson passed away on Christmas day at her residence in Arizona. Her career at Grand Valley was a part of her journey that she cherished, and she took great pride in her years there. In honor of Barb's years at Grand Valley, the family has endowed the Carlson Family Scholarship at GVSU (https://www.gvsu.edu/giving/give-online2.htm?fundId=30089). Three generations of the family have been involved and impacted by GV and contributions to this fund will provide a lasting legacy of her years at Grand Valley.
