4+1 Program with Western Michigan University

You can work toward a Master of Arts or a Master of Science degree at Western Michigan University (WMU) while earning taking Religious Studies courses at GVSU. Starting Spring/Summer 2019, students enrolled in 300- or 400-level REL courses can bring up to 12 credits of coursework toward a Master's Degree, including up to 6 credits towards a Master of Arts in Comparative Religion. This means you can start your graduate study as much as two full semesters ahead of students who pursue graduate study in a traditional way.
