Lab 06

Lab 06 is located in the basement of Lake Superior Hall.  It is installed with the Adobe Creative Cloud, Pro Tools, and Audacity.  It can be used anytime the PSR is open.  Students may stay in the lab as late as they would like if they are in the lab before the PSR closes.


Computers, scanner and printer in Lab 14

Lab 14

Lab 14 is equipped with Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, and InDesign for still image editing.  Monitors are color calibrated bi-weekly to ensure accurate color.  Each station has an Epson P700 printer that students may use by providing their own paper.  Several stations have high-quality Epson scanners.  Lab 14 can be accessed when the PSR is open and students may stay past close.

Printing Suites

Rooms 101 and 103 have large-format color printers that can take roll paper 24 or 44 inches wide (respectively).  Monitors are color calibrated bi-weekly to assure color accuracy.   Students who are enrolled in upper-level Photography classes may sign out these rooms.  Students must provide their own paper.


Full room of computers in Lab 112

Lab 112

The Information Technology Department at GVSU operates one lab in Lake Superior Hall in room 112.  This lab is equipped with dual projectors and 30 workstations.   Any issues with this lab should be reported directly to IT at [email protected] as it is not run by the PSR.  The hours for Fall 2021 are: 

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sat/Sun: CLOSED
