About The Platform
The Gray Decision Intelligence (Gray DI) data platform is now available to all GVSU faculty and staff, providing valuable insights to support our long-term goals in Academic Affairs. This system can help us shape our shared academic portfolio strategy, refine decision-making for new and existing programs, and ensure equitable access to consistent, transparent data. It also enables us to anticipate future resource needs while staying ahead of emerging trends and challenges.
Gray DI serves as a comprehensive data resource, offering analyses on job market trends, sought-after skills, alumni outcomes, national enrollment trends, and academic program costs with benchmarking against other institutions. Additionally, it can help us identify opportunities for new programs and growth within existing ones, presenting clear, accessible data, tables, and visualizations to support informed decision-making.

Account Activation and Support
To activate your Gray DI platform account, contact Aaron Lowen ([email protected]) in the Office of the Provost. Please note the activation process typically takes around two business days. We encourage you to view the videos provided above to hear a welcome from Provost Drake, learn about the platform from Gray DI staff, and watch hands-on training workshops on their Markets module and Employment module (which includes information about job postings and alumni outcomes). These videos provide background and guidance that will help you use the system more effectively.
Gray DI offers resources to help you get started. They provide daily office hours (M-F, noon-1 p.m. ET), asynchronous support ([email protected]), and videos and guides. The videos and guides include overviews of their Markets and Economics modules, interactive training guides, and training videos to help you use the platform and interpret the information available.
