About Program Review

Program review is a regular health check across Grand Valley’s portfolio of academic offerings—degree programs, minors, certificates, and other microcredentials--to ensure that we revise and refresh programs to align with student and community needs, while also ensuring resources are allocated to support excellence and student success across this portfolio.

During the Winter 2021 Semester and into Spring/Summer 2021, we will engage in our first comprehensive program review. The process will result in recommendations being made to the Provost, Deans, and UAS, as well as a baseline program-based dashboard we can use for quick-check program reviews annually.

For more information about our process, the kinds of recommendations that may emerge, and the timeline for completing this first program review, please visit the Process and Timeline page of this website.
