Industry Recognized Credential
Grand Valley State University has evaluated many Industry recognized Credentials to determined what are equivalent to GVSU coursework. Industry-Recognized Credentials (IRC) are verification of an individual’s qualifications or competence issued by a third party such as business or trade associations and measure technical competency and validate knowledge and skills in a specific industry. They include certificates, credentials, or licenses and are often time-limited or renewable. If you can provide proof that you have earned one of these certifications you can earn credit for it.
All certifications or licenses must be current and valid.
