Kendall Souders
Kendall Souders graduated from GVSU in 2018 with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Middle East Studies. After graduating, Kendall worked as the individual development accounts (IDA) program coordinator for Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County. IDA accounts allow refugees, victims of human trafficking, asylees, and other newcomers to the US to open savings accounts and save money towards education or towards specific assets such as a vehicle or house. After their savings goals have been met, and after the required financial literacy courses have been completed, JFS will match the amount they saved.
Kendall went on to be a microenterprise supervisor at the International Rescue Committee until her departure in 2024. Currently she works as the Senior Functional Analyst at the Department of Health and Human Services for General Dynamics Information Technology.
