Amanda (Miralrio) Murray

Amanda Miralrio Murray graduated from GVSU with a B.A. in International Relations in 2008. During her time at GVSU, she was a McNair Research Scholar under the supervision of Professor Polly Diven. She completed her Master’s degree in International Affairs at George Washington University in 2011. 

From 2011 to 2016, Amanda worked as a Sanctions Compliance Officer, at the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in the U.S. Department of Treasury. From 2016 to 2018, she became the Assistant Coordinator at the Office of Iran Nuclear Implementation in the U.S. Department of State. From 2018 to 2020, she was an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. From 2020 to 2021 she was an Office Director in the Global Investigations Division at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, U.S. Treasury. Today Amanda is Senior Advisor to the Director of OFAC.
