Andrew Light

Andrew Light graduated from GVSU in 2018 with a B.A. in International Relations and Philosophy. During his time at GV he worked for the United States Senate in Lansing, Michigan, as a Constituent Services Intern. He also interned for West Michigan Environmental Action Council as a Environmental Education Intern. 

Andrew attended the University of Michigan for his Master of Science in Environmental Policy, Education, and Communication. During that time, Andrew was a Policy Analyst helping develop the Michigan Zoning Database for renewable energy through the Graham Sustainability Institute. He also volunteered as an Environmental Peacebuilder with the Environmental Law Institute. Andres completed his Master’s degree in 2020. 

Andrew next accepted a position in Washington, D.C. as a Program Manager for Interstate Renewable Energy Council. The following year, Andrew accepted his current position as a Clean Energy Associate at the World Resources Institute. In 2025, Andrew became certified as a LEED Green Associate.
