Autumn Modena, refugee advocate, entrepreneur and founder of RefuTea. Even before Autumn graduated from GVSU in 2015, she had launched her eCommerce organization named RefuTea. As a student majoring in International Relations, minoring in Spanish, and studying Human Rights, Autumn learned about the lack of employment available to refugees upon resettlement. Now Autumn sells top quality teas from several countries online at www.refuteashop.com and in local stores in West Michigan. Ten percent of sales are donated to refugee resettlement agencies in the Greater Grand Rapids Michigan area.
