Emmons and Coulter win the Zeeb IR Study Abroad Scholarships for 2019

The International Relations program is happy to announce that Nathan Emmons and Alexander Coulter are the 2019 winners of the Zeeb International Relations Study Abroad Scholarship. In order to qualify, applicants cannot have traveled abroad before. Applicants are also selected based on their academic records in the IR program. These scholarships are funded by a generous donation from Tim Zeeb, a GVSU alumnus who graduated with a B.A. in International Relations and minors in Political Science and German. Tim Zeeb is a financial consultant based in Detroit.

Nathan Emmons, a junior from Kentwood, is studying at Peter the Great Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg, Russia, for the fall 2019 semester. Alexander Coulter, a senior from Sterling Heights, spent the spring 2019 term studying abroad in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
