The Kenneth R. Venderbush Award recognizes a senior who has demonstrated an exceptional blend of academic achievement and leadership efficacy while making significant contributions to the campus community.

Excellence-in-a-Discipline Award 2021

The Excellence-in-a-Discipline Award honors one student from each undergraduate and graduate discipline. Faculty from each department select the recipient based upon an earned minimum number of credit hours at an exceptional grade point average.

The GVSU 3-Minute Thesis Competition invites graduate students to present their thesis in these minutes with a single slide. Winners recieve cash prizes and the funds to represent GVSU at the Midwest Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) 3MT® virtual competition.
