PCE Attends TRAC Bridge Challenge

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) hosted its annual Transportation and Civil Engineering (TRAC) Bridge Challenge in Grand Rapids on April 14, 2026. This event introduces middle and high school students to engineering by challenging them to design and build model bridges that meet specific structural and design specifications.
The TRAC Bridge Challenge also featured a Career Exploration Room that connected students with professionals who work in different engineering fields. The PCE Outreach team participated in the Career Exploration Room and represented GVSU by introducing students to GVSU’s engineering programs and opportunities.
