Program Plans

  • Plans will be customized for each student. Part time options are available.
  • MSE Program requires 33 approved credit hours at the 5xx or 6xx level with GPA 3.0 or better
  • No more than 3 courses at the 5xx level may be counted towards the MSE degree
  • One 6xx course outside of EGR may be taken with GPD approval
  • Students must earn B or better grade in any undergraduate prereq courses in their program plan

Choices for MSE culminating experience:

  1. EGR 695 Master's Thesis (6 cr; taken over at least 2 semesters)
  2. EGR 693 Master's Project (6 cr; taken over at least 2 semesters; company sponsored)
  3. EGR 686 Capstone Design Project (3 cr; single semester)
