Abstract
DornerWorks IoT demonstration combines five technologies that are used in IoT design, into a “Simon Game” style demonstration with four colored LED buttons. The technologies used are bare metal Rust, a secure programming language newly available to embedded devices; Rugix, a custom OS build tool allowing for customization and a lightweight format; mobile application design for IOS and Android; custom PCB design; and the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 which will run the Rugix OS.
These technologies will be used to handle game logic, physical and mobile user input/output, and wireless communication between mobile and physical platforms connected via Cloud. The creation of this project will facilitate the use and implementation of these technologies into future DornerWorks IoT projects. Using the knowledge gained as a kickstart.
DornerWorks provides innovative engineering that turns ideas into reality so that their customers lives change for the better and they can grow their business.
