Abstract
The ELMNTS system is a demonstration platform designed to showcase the capabilities of Lynx Software Technologies' LynxOS operating system and proprietary software libraries. An integrated touchscreen HMI allows users to interact with and observe demonstrations in real time. The project consists of three categories of demonstrations: software visualization, camera tracking, and RF signal analysis, highlighting the real-time, graphical, and signal-processing capabilities of LynxOS.
The software demonstrations feature interactive dashboards that showcase the computational and graphical performance of LynxOS, including the use of Lynx's proprietary Vulkan-based graphics libraries.
The camera tracking demonstrations utilize a custom two-axis pan-tilt system capable of approximately 100° horizontal and 90° vertical motion. In tracking mode, the system automatically follows a selected object and maintains it at the center of the camera's field of view. In identification mode, detected objects are highlighted with a bounding box as they move within the frame. These demonstrations emphasize the real-time processing and graphical capabilities of the operating system.
The RF demonstrations allow users to analyze local FM radio signals through real-time power-versus-frequency and waterfall displays. Users can also tune to and listen to selected FM radio stations, demonstrating signal processing and visualization capabilities within the LynxOS environment.
