This project will be a vending and sorting machine that will provide students in the freshman machine lab access to fastener hardware. The machine will accept lab materials and filter between unwanted materials and reusable hardware left on workstations in the freshman machine lab. The students will be limited in the amount of hardware they are allowed to withdraw but can earn more by returning unused parts.  This will encourage only taking the necessary amount of parts and incentivize keeping the lab clean.
