Abstract
DornerWorks, a leading provider of embedded engineering services, offers two key solutions they wish to highlight: deterministic Ethernet and accelerated AI/ML algorithm development.
DornerWorks FPGA-implemented Time Sensitive Network (TSN) IP Core addresses a key challenge: making Ethernet deterministic and ensuring critical packets are never dropped. This technology is becoming essential for the next-generation Aerospace and Defense systems.
Accelerated AI/ML algorithms on embedded edge devices are becoming critical to enabling realtime decision-making, reducing latency, and improving performance in resource-constrained environments.
For this project, DornerWorks aims to develop a demonstration for use at conferences and trade shows to showcase its embedded engineering capabilities. The demo features an AI video system implemented on an NVIDIA GPU, streaming mixed-criticality data - video and AI-generated metadata - over a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Ethernet network using separate priority queues. This setup provides an engaging and effective way to highlight TSN’s real-time data-handling capabilities.
DornerWorks provides innovative engineering that turns ideas into reality so that their customers lives change for the better and they can grow their business.
