What to Expect
Grand Valley State University is excited to welcome you to our Winter 2026 career center workshop. At this workshop you can expect to learn about career pathways for GVSU students. A representative from the career center will present important information and answer questions that you have as you navigate your career path through higher education.

Pathways to GVSU Meeting
What to Expect
The Pathways to GVSU Meeting is an informational virtual meeting to provide an opportunity for students and families in the 8th Grade Pathways program to virtually connect with Ms. Jenifer Young, 8th Grade Pathways Manager. This meeting will cover general information regarding the 8th Grade Pathways program and key events. In addition, Jenifer will also provide helpful tips and information for high school and college application success.
Future - Freshman Presentation & Campus Tour
What to Expect
Designed for current high school students, or recent high school graduates, this campus visit includes a group presentation followed by a student-led campus tour. The whole visit takes about 2 hours. The presentation covers academics, student life, and financial aid. The student-led walking tour goes through academic spaces, the library, the recreation center, a few housing options, and more.
