Description
Join us as we talk about the benefits of the McNair Scholars program, the application process, and tips for a successful application.
The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement program is designed to encourage highly talented undergraduate students whose parents have no four-year college degree and are lower-income, or students in ethnic groups underrepresented at the doctoral level, to pursue a Ph.D. The program accepts students from all disciplines.
All scholars receive a $4000 stipend to participate in a 12-week intensive summer experience, housing included. Scholars also receive graduate application and GRE preparation, and assistance with the graduate school application process. The McNair Scholars Program also pays for the scholars’ travel for graduate school visits.
