The fully ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management (OSHM) degree at Grand Valley is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills for entry-level positions in safety management, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection, while concurrently laying the groundwork for professional certification. The demand for proficient, fully-qualified safety professionals is on the rise in Michigan and across the nation.
“The OSH program gave me a strong technical foundation, but what stood out most was how much it strengthened my interpersonal skills. Professors like Dave Huizen and Derek McCormick created a space where asking questions and engaging in meaningful conversation were encouraged, and that made all the difference.”
