In addition, Panopto can be used create quick screen recordings with both audio and video for course orientations and even student assignment feedback.

Library Digital Resources

The library holds hundreds of thousands of electronic journal articles, books, videos, and more. Your liaison librarian can help you access and create a variety of online-friendly resources. We also can ship books to off-campus faculty and students, and digitize materials so you can add them to your electronic course reserves.

Content Creation at the Digital Studio

The digital studio within the IT department's eLearning group has a wide variety of services and resources that will allow you to create instructional content that can be embedded into your courses. These services range from digitizing analog content that you may be using in your face-to-face courses to helping you create custom, interactive learning objects and videos. Visit the Digital Studio's website at the link below for a full list of services!

Open Educational Resources (OER)

Open Educational Resources are changing the way we teach and learn. If you are looking for high quality learning objects that are free or openly licensed, here are few sites to consider.

The library has created an Open Educational Resources Subject Guide, a collection of resources to help GVSU faculty find open-licensed textbooks and other educational materials
