As part of the MiSTEM transformative framework, we envision a new delivery system for education that integrates and utilizes the community, business partners, parents, and students toward the collective common good. Each who is invested and interested in problem-, project-, and place-based (3-P) learning that drives the development of a STEM workforce and advances the future prosperity of our students.

Problem-, project-, and place-based (3-P) learning provides students with a deeper understanding of the complex world around them. Using the 3-P approach, students develop skills and knowledge that bring real-world context to classroom learning to prepare them for future STEM careers.

Most importantly, when education and business/industry work together as partners, they ultimately impact the academic development and success of all students. We value our business and community partners in this work. These relationships, your STEM ecosystem, can contribute to increased student achievement and engagement in STEM content areas.
