Student Virtual Presentations

One of the joys of the Michigan Spring Section meeting is the student talks and presentation of the Ron Mosier Memorial Award for Student Presentations.
However, it is often difficult for students to make it to the section meeting. In addition to the student talks at the section meeting (GVSU April 8th & 9th), this year we will have an evening of student virtual presentations the week prior to the section meeting. These talks are open to undergraduate and graduate students in Michigan who are unable to attend the section meeting. these talks will also be eligible for the Mosier Award.

Please encourage your students to give a talk, at either (but not both) the virtual event or at the section meeting! And please attend the virtual event. The more people in the audience, the better experience it is for our students. Details and how to submit a paper are below.

Date: Thursday, March 31st 2022, 7:00-9:00pm via Zoom. Registration is free and attendance registration information will be posted as the date gets closer. We have time for 8 talks. If more talks are submitted the time will be extended or a second night will be schedule.

To register to attend this event and support our students, please use this Google form.
