Sessions are 1 full hour long (60 minutes).

We are planning to hold Math in Action as a hybrid conference, with the option to attend in person at GVSU's Allendale Campus, while also offering select sessions online via Zoom to remote participants. Please note that all presenters are required to present in-person at GVSU's Allendale Campus — there is no option to present remotely. There are two modality options for presentation proposals, both of which require in-person presenting:

• In-person only: You will present in-person at GVSU's Allendale Campus, and your presentation will only be accessible to in-person participants.
• Hybrid: You will present in-person at GVSU's Allendale Campus, and your presentation will also be accessible to online participants via Zoom, in addition to in-person participants.

Before proposing a hybrid presentation, please make sure your presentation will be accessible to both in-person and online audiences. After considering this, if you think your presentation would work well in a hybrid setting, we encourage you to select this option, as it will allow more sessions to be accessible to all participants.

Lastly, please note that while we will do our best to accommodate your modality selection, we may need to make changes based on the schedule. We will contact you directly should any changes be needed.

Presenters receive reduced registration for the conference at $20 per person. Student presenters or co-presenters receive free registration. Students must co-present with a K–12 teacher or professor.
