OUR HISTORY

1960 | Grand Valley State University was founded
1965 | The first economics courses were taught
1970 | The School of Business and Economics is established
1973 | The F.E. Seidman Graduate College is formed
1979 | Undergraduate and graduate programs merged into one School, the Seidman College
1983 | Renamed the Seidman School of Business
1997 | AACSB accreditation is awarded for all business programs and the School of Accounting
2004 | Renamed the Seidman College of Business
2013 | The L. William Seidman Center is opened
