University Policies

Note about policy terminology:

In order to avoid confusion, the former websites for the Administrative Manual and Grand Valley Manual have been deactivated.  Policies residing in the former Administrative Manual are now called "Board of Trustees' Policies" and the former Grand Valley Manual is now called "President's Cabinet Policies".  Collectively, all policies are housed in the "University Policies Website" and reside at  During the summer, the Faculty Handbook will also remain available as it has been on the faculty governance site as a PDF, pending discussions with senate leadership.

This website is the authoritative location for policies approved by the University’s Board of Trustees (formerly housed in the "Administrative Manual") and President’s Cabinet (formerly housed in the "Grand Valley Manual") and certain other policies such as those contained in the Faculty Handbook and Student Code.
