LAKERS TOGETHER: Find out how we're moving forward.
Professional Development Opportunities for Physical Therapists
Grand Valley State University's Department of Physical Therapy offers physical therapists opportunities for quality continuing education programs. For physical therapists in Michigan, the credits obtained through our programming can be used toward acquiring the Professional Development Requirement (PDR) credits required by the State for license renewal. Physical therapists will need to accumulate 24 PDR credits or hours starting the July 2017 through July 2019 renewal period.
Our goal is to offer quality courses that are meaningful and applicable to professional physical therapists. We also provide small, personal, and intellectual environments as well as expert presenters to optimize your learning experience. If you'd like to know more, feel free to give us a call at (616) 331-7180 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Important: The Department of Physical Therapy has determined it necessary to delay/postpone all in-person trainings until we can safely reconvene and have hands-on learning again. The department and University made this difficult decision in order to protect the safety and well being of the public and university staff and students.
Because of this news, we have rescheduled our PTPD courses during this time as appropriate. We are sorry, but we must abide by the university and State policies as dictated. We will notify attendees ASAP via email of any changes in the program. Please be sure to check your email often as we discuss and make decisions often.
Thank you for your cooperation as we go through these uncertain times. If you have any questions, please email our office at email@example.com or call us at (616) 331-7180.
