ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE TO BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCE

Grand Valley State University's new Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) is a unique bachelor's degree program that gives applied associates degree holders the opportunity to step up their education and careers.

Three in-demand areas: 

Core components:

  • Offered in person* or fully online
  • Earn stackable certificates in the area of your choice
  • Receive credit for your prior learning and work experience

*Dependent on enrollment, and courses may be offered in person on Jackson College's Central Campus

 

REGISTERED NURSE TO BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

Grand Valley State University's RN-to-BSN Program offers flexible learning and clinical experience for current associate degree nursing students, new graduates, and registered nurses, who work full-time. The RN-to-BSN Program helps Registered Nurses expand their career opportunity and prepare them for graduate nursing programs.

GVSU RN-to-BSN program features small class sizes which provide individualized, meaningful engagement with professors and fellow students to meet the needs of full-time working students.

 

Core Components:

  • Offered primarily online
  • Complete clinical experience in your area
  • Graduate in 16 months

 

Grand Valley is offering fully online graduate programs in 7 in-demand computing fields!

GVSU College of Computing has developed innovative, online master's degrees that combine in-demand coursework with hands-on computing experience, making them a great fit for busy schedules. The programs welcome students from all majors and academic backgrounds.

The seven computing options include:

GVSU, Jackson College team to create new pathways for students, strengthen nursing talent pipeline

Leaders at Grand Valley State University and Jackson College signed an agreement on July 11, 2023, that includes a nursing pathway for Jackson College students to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing from GVSU, strengthening the talent pipeline in that field. The agreement also provides other Jackson College students with seamless pathways to complete their bachelor's degrees at GVSU.
