Maintenance for the Allendale Building Network Connectivity system

We'd like to inform you of an upcoming scheduled network outage due to a critical upgrade to our battery backup system, also known as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

What is a UPS? A UPS is a device that provides emergency power to network equipment when the main power source fails. It helps prevent data loss, hardware damage, and service interruptions by supplying temporary power and allowing systems to continue running during short power outages.

Why the Upgrade? To ensure continued reliability and protection for network systems, we are upgrading our existing UPS to a newer, more efficient model. This upgrade will enhance our ability to maintain operations during unexpected power disruptions.

Duration: There will be a 15-minute outage within the maintenance window listed above for each location. This is amount of time it takes for the network equipment to be moved to new UPS and power back up. During this time, Wi-Fi, voice and wired networks will be temporarily unavailable. We recommend saving your work and shutting down any non-essential equipment before the outage begins.
