Join us in October as we celebrate GVSU! 

The Lip Sync Battle is a competition where teams battle by performing, lip-syncing, and dancing to songs based on a theme. The Lip Sync Battle is Sunday, October 16 at 7 p.m. in the Fieldhouse Arena. Team registration closes Friday, October 7 at noon - at this time, teams do not need to know all of their participants to sign up. 

Prizes:

• 1st Place = $300 
• 2nd Place = $200
• 3rd Place = $100

Prize amount will be awarded to an eligible registered student organization.

Grand Valley State University's Homecoming Royalty are learners who represent the Grand Valley community and emulate what it means to be a Laker. Candidates are enrolled full-time, third or fourth-year class standing, and are in accordance with the institution. Nominations for Homecoming Royalty are now closed, and the formal interview process is taking place October 3 – 7.

Homecoming Royalty selection is based on three categories: formal interview, voting, and participation in Homecoming events.

The 2022 Homecoming Royal will receive a $500 scholarship towards their academics.
