Grand Valley’s Office of Multicultural Affairs will host events throughout February and March in celebration of Black History Month.
The events include an array of educational conversations and opportunities for students to connect with Black student groups and organizations. Those interested in learning more or participating can register here.
The first event will be held on Friday, February 3, from 6-8 p.m. in Kirkhof Center lobby. “The Blackout: Black Student Organization Showcase” is an opportunity for students to engage with Black and Afro-led registered student organizations and learn about how they can get involved. Attendees can enjoy food, music and games with Black and Afro-led registered student organizations.
