Grand Valley and the West Michigan Sports Commission will host more than 750 student athletes from around the country during the NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 26-28.

Thirty-five student athletes will represent Grand Valley at this year’s meet.

The men’s track and field team is the defending national champion, winning its first outdoor title in 2021.

The women’s team finished second to Azusa Pacific last year and is looking for its first national championship since winning consecutive titles in 2011 and 2012.

This year’s meet marks the fourth time Grand Valley has served as host since 2014.

Grand Valley is also looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of duties from usher to helping an event. To check availability and sign up, visit the Lakers volunteer page.

Fans can purchase a single-day ticket or a three-day, all-session pass. Tickets are available at GVSUTickets.com, and are either mobile or print-at-home. GVSU is a Cashless Campus.

Live results will be available on NCAA.com.
