Grand Valley's Athletics Department has partnered with Cumulus Media to broadcast football, men's and women's basketball games, weekly shows and special events.
Beginning this fall, Laker football games will air on WLAV (96.9 FM). The GVSU Football Weekly Report with Matt Mitchell will air on The Ticket (1340 AM, 1490 AM, 106.1 FM) from 6-7 p.m. every Thursday during the season.
Keri Becker, director of athletics, said the department is excited about the partnership with Cumulus.
"Cumulus Media has a long history in Grand Rapids and this partnership will fuel new opportunities for GVSU Athletics," Becker said.
The first Laker football game to air on WLAV will be the season-opener on September 2, 7 p.m., against Edinboro University. It will mark the 50th season of Grand Valley football.
