Giving Tuesday presents opportunity to help fellow Lakers

Lakers helping other Lakers is a tenet of Grand Valley and the campus community has an opportunity to help on Giving Tuesday by supporting the Student Textbook and Supplies Fund or choosing another university fund.

Giving Tuesday, a global day of philanthropy, is November 30. President Philomena V. Mantella said Giving Tuesday makes it easy for the university community to show students their support.

“Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity for our Grand Valley community to let students know how much we care about their success in a very tangible way," Mantella said. "Our goal is to engage everyone in a collective day of giving that will directly impact the lives of thousands of students each year.”
